The Atmosphere Economy

What are ✦ Credits used for?
Credits are the global currency of the Atmosphere ecosystem. You use them to generate incredible new elements via the AI Automator (Flash: 5 ✦ per generation, Pro: 15 ✦), and you can use them to purchase Master Kits published by other top creators. Use BYOK (your own Gemini key) or Local AI models to generate for free!
Do Credits have any real-world value?
No. ✦ Credits have absolutely no redeemable cash value, cannot be converted back to USD, and are exclusively utilized as closed-loop utility tokens inside the Atmosphere platform to unlock features and download premium digital items.
How does the free tier work?
The Free tier of the Atmosphere Engine includes unintrusive native desktop ads to keep the servers running. To remove ads entirely, simply ensure you have an active ✦ Credit balance or purchase a bundle. Making any purchase removes all platform ads.
Can I generate widgets for free without credits?
Yes! Atmosphere Engine fully supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and Local AI Generation to completely bypass cloud spending caps and platform credit costs.

• Local Models: If you have Ollama installed on your machine, simply pull a model (e.g., ollama run gemma4:26b). In the Studio, select your local model from the dropdown. Note: Ensure Ollama accepts requests by setting OLLAMA_ORIGINS="*" as a system environment variable.

• Gemini API Key: You can paste your own Google AI Studio API key directly into the BYOK field in the Studio. All generations will be charged to your personal Google Cloud account rather than consuming Atmosphere ✦ Credits.
